Children's Fun Runs

There will be a children's fun run at each of the Summer 5k Races. The races will start at 7 p.m. with entries taken on the night only, cost £1 each. (Entries will close at 6.55 p.m.). Prizes given to 1st boy / girl as they finish, so time for the adults to get to the 5k start line.

Prizes will be awarded to 1st boy and 1st girl for each race, in the following categories:

  • 600 (approx) meter race (1 lap of field) - school year 4 and below.
  • 1,200 (approx) meter race (2 laps) - school 5, 6, 7 and 8

All children running will receive a certificate. A sweeper will do the 2 laps so no child will come last.

For the more serious club runner trying to improve PB's, all results will be posted 2 days after race.
