Hash Run
From Lindsay: Great turn out for Martin Chaffeys hash run. Think it's safe to say Felicity Came and Connor Hyde were in their element lol, especially the fish hooks.. Martin hopefully organising another one at easter if anyone is interested. Was lovely to see the resident Kingfisher and to visit the old ski slope as never been there before.

Weekend Running
From Amanda: 10 mile Jeff, chilly but beautiful crisp morning, lovely company and delicious coffee and tiffin treat to finish.

From Helen: First Sunday Club 10 miler of 2026 complete on very fresh but sunny morning. Can’t deny I found that tough today but got it done with great company…thanks all. Nice social in the cafe after with my mint tiffin and Lawrie’s chocolate nut tiffin (thanks Lawrie) and thanks Andy for the chai latte.

From Mags: Chilly Sunday Long run this morning 19miles for Andy, 18 for me and 15.5 for Leigh.

From Tim: A chilly start to Cavity trays so straight up to Odcombe to warm us up. A few Bambie moments but we all stayed upright and still able to crack out 7 miles. Saw Bungy at the start of his Windsor loop. Mark Larcombe and Andy Brown stuck to a town loop. Kevin Doherty was with us because he couldn't get up in time for Park Run. Lots of good chat about the marathons we have signed up for and planning. See you next week.

Park Runs
From Steve:
Street parkrun for me this morning. Happy with 6th place and 1st in age.

From Terry: Moors Valley Parkrun. So 9 years and 10 months after my first and just over 8 years after my 47th place and pb of 21.50 I finally took the line for my 50th park run. It was cold and icy with over 600 runners, the 2nd half was an ice fest so slow, especially over the bridges. Much older, much slower but still plodding round, and it was great to be a first Saturday of month and wearing the green and white.

From Trevor: Weymouth parkrun with the team.

From Linda: First Saturday parkrun of the year. Very cold and a bit icy in parts. Frogmary ok"d the route around 8am. Not as many of Ytrrc here today but over 200 runners. Not the best time as I'm still suffering from the cough. Well done everyone.

From Margarita: A freezing cold parkrun at Cuningar Loop parkrun today. A nice but frosty two laps of the park. A lovely one that would do again in the warm.

From Donna: An icy Parkrun at St Mary's today. Took it easy so as not to slip but quite enjoyed it. Thank you to Claire Church for marshaling and great encouragement. That's my 5 in a row tourist streak done.

From Louise: A crazy Cleethorpes Parkrun for Me. At 8am it was announced it was going ahead with one patch of ice they were sorting. As we arrived a few flakes of snow started to fall and got increasingly heavy during the event. I hadn't intended to run it all but it was way too cold for walking! 1st in age category was a nice surprise as I did stop 3 times to take photos! It's a nice 3 lap course around the lakes and over 3 bridges on each lap with 2 extra out and backs to a cone.
