Weekend Running
From Donna: Ally's 10k jeffing group led by Tracy today decided to do the Yeovil 10k route in reverse. We were all pleased with our time considering a lot of talking was going on.

From Helen: Well done all we did good, especially those doing extra miles before . Lush social after with you all enjoying my Australian Crunch and Lawrie’s crispy choc tiffin he very kindly left under my car for us.

From Andy: Cavity trays run. What a lovely morning, but oh so cold out of the sun! Phil did his own route as did Dave, Denise and Sharon, while the rest of us set off down Bunford lane past the airfield to Lysander road, up Watercombe lane and out on Camp road to the Church at Odcombe and along Old road back to Yeovil in time for a "Birthday hug" for some old git and the usual Breakfast at No5.
Park Runs
From Jo: What a difference the makes . A great morning at Weymouth parkrun where I finally managed a time that starts with 24!! Really happy with 24:40, 13th female & 1st in my age catagory. It had to be followed by a sea swim under the blue sky & dare I say it, warm sunshine , thank you Helen Nesbitt for joining me.

From Margarita: A very busy valentines parkrun where we had to queue the 250 metres to finish.

From Louise: A lovely sunny day for an enjoyable run through the forest. Good facilities and £2 to park up until 10.45. It was the B route today as the lake was still flooded so we will have to come back again to do the A route.
PUB RUN – HARDINGTON MANDEVILLE – (12TH FEBRUARY 2026)
From Mark: Guy, Crispian, Stephen, and Ann formed a fast running group tonight. Rob, JC, and myself ran not so fast. Alison and Rachael walked. Phil ran alone. Not so fast ran an anti-clockwise loop, firstly climbing the steep hill and getting up onto Coker Ridge. Lots of houses lit up below to the left, and Yeovil lit up to the right. At the end, we turned left, descended one side of the valley, and climbed the other side of the valley. At the top we turned left and continued along the southern edge of Hardington. Turning left we descended through Lyatts, turned left again and ran back to the pub.
Very nice pub food afterwards with live music. Cover of Red Hot Chillie Peppers at one point. Thanks Phil for organising.
