Drama Llama Run Phoenix : Results : Drama Llama Run 2026
Steve when you to the Thames for a couple of days to run a couple of Marathons. Today he manage 4:56:31 and yesterday 4:49:00. Well done
Portland Marathon
From Andy: What a great event by Bustinskin, there was an option to run 10K, H/M or the full Marathon. I chose the Marathon where you run two laps of Portland, clockwise then the opposite way. There was quite a bit of elevation and plenty of mud near the Lighthouse, I managed to stack it just the once We had a couple of down pours and there was lots of puddles to run through so we were wet and muddy by the end. Definitely recommend this one , I managed 13th place in a time of 4:15.

The Lyndhurst FC Club House 10km
From Terry: So a short trip to Lyndhurst for the 'one off' (we will see) 5 and 10km, the 10km being 2 laps. It was on decent forest tracks all in the beautiful New Forest, brilliantly organised by the team behind the Copythorne Carnival Run.
It was very 'lumpy' especially the 2nd time round, without doubt the hills got bigger and the puddles deeper!!! But it was a super little event, with decent amounts of mud on the walk to the start. Race HQ in the pub, what's not to like?

Goodwood Races
From Margarita: So this one is all Tracy's fault, when she said do you fancy running round Goodwood, I was all for it. So we travelled up last night and was very glad this morning when it wasn't raining. 5 and a bit laps around the motor circuit, its always hard running laps but Tracy and I stayed together and jeffed it 8:2. Now time to find some food.

Lytchett 10 miles
From Paul: A nice round 10 of us turned out this morning for a 9:30 start. Rain, rain and more rain was forecast but we hardly had any, just a downpour for about 10 minutes not long after the start. Undulating up for the first 5 miles, then undulating back down for the other half.
In order:
Jack 1:09
Me 1:15
Adam 1:15
Oli and Kayleigh 1:16
Lawrie Morris 1:22
Kelly Rowsell 1:25
Debbie Rennard 1:32
Amanda 1:40
Mel Cox (suffering with a cold) 1:44

Weekend Running
From Tim: Cavity Trays Saturday run. The rain held off and after a discussion if Balls Hill would be flooded we did it anyway. Down to Monty then up to Odcombe on our favourite Hill. 10k achievedby all. Sharon Hardy and Phil Mac Quaid put the world to right on a 5k walk.

From Linda: What can I say. That was WET!!!! 10 miles done Not done that mileage for ages. Thank you Lesley Nesbitt and Tina Beard for your company. Couldn't have done it without you guys. Lush shortbread afterwards from Helen Nesbitt . Amazing! Now showered, dressed and warm. I don't want to go out or the rest of the day.

From Helen: A VERY wet Sunday Club run! well done all.

Fri Track
From Graham: Another great turnout. Lovely to see some of Weymouth running club joining us. See you all next week!!

Park Runs
From Stace: A very wet, yet wonderful 25th milestone parkrun for me today in Minehead. Felt very greatful to have shared it with Nick Lacey Jess Smith & a wonderful surprise Trevor Strelley, 10 months ago when I started couch to 5k I wouldn’t have foreseen the opportunities the sport gives. Also after my run I must also say it was a pleasure & highlight to pace my mum to her first ever sub 60 minute parkrun, well done everyone and thanks for coming down it meant a lot.

From Donna: A photo of some of us who ran Frogmary's 200th Parkrun. I have never seen it so muddy and wet, but we all powered through it without slipping over. Only 115 runners and walkers which must of been one of the lowest turnouts to date.

From Lindsay: The new Lost Gardens of Heligan Park run this morning for me. A new event (4th park run today for them) and lucky for us it was just up the road from our B&B where me and the girls are staying this weekend. This was wet, muddy and hilly but also a pretty park run, especially when we get some good weather. It's an out and back course with 2.5k going down and then 2.5k back up lol. Thanks to my girls Abi Saunders and Freya Saunders for supporting even though they were supposed to be walking it with me. It just meant I had to run it instead, cheers girls lol. Anyway I was no 53 out of 199 park runners, 1st in my age group and 5th lady, not a bad effort for a tough course lol. Now off to Padstow to see our JJ.

From Felicity: Bit of solo parkrun tourism for me today at Burnham and highbridge parkrun. Crazy busy at the start, but a lovely course once the crowds thinned out. Please excuse the dodgy selfie!

From Adam: Great turnout at Weymouth Parkrun for Jo’s birthday
