Winter Challenge             Full Results

From Ann:  Well what can I say about the double race weekend. I booked us a caravan to stay in the totally wrong location took us 2 and a half hours to get there to only realise oops we are to far so half eleven ar night we set of back home get in for 1am and back out the house at 6am to say the weekend was already a long one was an understatement. So 2 hours sleep and of I set to do an ultra for day 1 and martin my other half done his first half since leaving the army. Day 2 was a hard day in a lot of pain and really didn't think I could do it but I kept on going not a fast time but still completed a marathon on day 2. Day 1 was Devon running events 100th event so cake and an extra prize of a slate coaster.

PUB RUN – ASH – (29TH JANUARY 2025)

From Mark: ,Well, it didn’t rain much after all, and thankfully there were no floods on the way there. Just JC and myself running not so fast. Ann and Stephen ran fast. Rob and Mel walked, and Phil ran alone.

We ran a clockwise loop which was part of last weeks route from Bower Hinton, but in the opposite direction. So, we ran down Martock road, which was still closed to traffic, and very muddy. We continued into Martock, and followed the main street up to the petrol station. Next it was out to Coat, then back to the traffic lights at Stapleton Cross. For the last leg we climbed back up into Ash.

The Pub food was good. Thanks Phil for organising.
