The club has been allocated four places for the 2012 London Marathon.

Qualifying members - see details below - should let Deb Stanfield know if they wish to be included in the draw to take place at the annual dinner and presentation night on 2 December.

Eligibility:

(a) Must be a first claim member of the club;
(b) Must have a valid rejection slip for the 2012 London Marathon;
(c) Must have submitted an entry that states the applicant to be a member of Yeovil Town Road Running Club;
(d) Any recipient of a club place shall not be eligible to enter the draw for the club place for the following two years;
(e) There is an expectation that the recipient of a club place shows a commitment to the club by training and actively participating with the club following the award of the place;
(f) The recipient of a club place is expected to wear the club colours when competing in the Marathon (and write pre- and post-race reports for newsletter!);
(g) Draw will take place at the Christmas meal or other date to be announced by the committee;
(h) Have to have been a member of Yeovil Town Road Running Club on or before the date of the previous annual general meeting.
