Yeovil Town RRC organise several races through the year. These range from the road events Summer 5K series and the well supported Easter Bunny 10 to the multi terrain events at the beautiful venues of Sherborne Castle and King Alfred's Torment at Stourhead.
We are also involved with the organisation of the Ash 8, the Ninesprings 9 and the Inca Trail.
Do watch out for details of possible additional events "The Town Tree Trail" and a "Santa Dash" in Yeovil for December!
Keep fit and be educated at the same time: visit the sites of the Inca Trail without the expense or the jet-lag. Run 7 llama miles along the droveways and footpaths of the 'Ilchester Andes', looking out for llamas as you go. For those not willing to undertake the running or altitudes, come along and try a more sedate journey through the foothills on the 2.9 mile Yak Trak. Memento and Guinea Pig soup for all finishers, 'Look for the Llama' and 'Trak the Yak' competitions.
All this takes place at Ilchester Sports Field (BA22 8NZ) on Sunday 15 Feb at 11:00am Refreshments for all, toilets and parking available.
